Katerina Nash is one of the America’s best cyclocross racers, and one of the World’s best athletes. Though she lives and races in the United States, Nash is originally from Czechoslovakia, and races for the Czech national team, but it’s her continued racing in America that helps us to call one of her own! Nash’s story goes much farther than being one of the best cyclocross and mountain bike racers in the world. Nash is a four-time Olympian, and one of the few athletes who has competed in both the Winter and Summer games. Before discovering cycling, Nash was an Olympic caliber cross country skier, having competed in the 1998 Winter Games in Nagano and the 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City. Nash found her second calling as a cyclist, and competed in her fourth Olympics in London in 2012, on the mountain bike. Nash is a cyclocross World Cup winner, a World Championships medalist, and one of the brightest lights in American and world cyclocross.
